Back in 1997, while studying music in India during 5 years, Music Producer Pierre-Jean Duffour began to create an original fusion music blending Indian Music with diverse urban musical cultures that he soon named MASALADOSA. Back in Europe in 2003, Pierre-Jean Duffour launched MASALADOSA with the first releases and international tours. The project was soon highly acclaimed by a wide range of audiences and medias relating MASALADOSAʼs music as bringing a fresh and innovative sound. Following a residency at Peter Gabrielʼs Real World studios, two albums encensed all around the world and a movie sountrack featuring in the multi-awarded animation movie Sita Sings The Blues, MASALADOSA has gained an international recognition opening minds to cutural diversity.
